What are your leadership roles on campus? At Foresthill High School, I currently serve as President of our FFA Chapter, Co- President of the National Honor Society, and Secretary of the Journalism Club. I am
also a member of the swim team and student council (ASB), as well as a spark leader! What are you looking forward to this year as you serve on the Board?
As I serve on the PUHSD board this year, I am looking forward to being able to provide a voice for Foresthill. Additionally, I am passionate about increasing the number of more rigorous course offerings on all campuses. What are your hobbies? In my free time, I love to play with my dog (a
chocolate lab named River), and go on road trips with my family! I also love to read, and one of my favorite books is “I am Malala”. What is your favorite food? My favorite food is definitely spaghetti (specifically the spaghetti my mom makes, it’s so good)! In terms of dessert food, I would have to say that my favorite dessert is apple pie (also the one that my mom makes) with vanilla ice cream. I also really love going to IKEA to get their Swedish meatballs with the little flag in them! :) Where is your favorite vacation destination? My favorite vacation destination is probably Montana. I have only been once with my family on a road trip, but it was one of the most beautiful areas that I have ever been to! The mountains were gorgeous, and there were fields everywhere full of cows (which I absolutely love). What is an interesting fact about you that you'd like to share? One interesting fact that I would like to share is that I have a goldfish named Ish who is 16 years old! I have had him since I was 18 months old. He got his name because I couldn’t pronounce the ‘f’ in ‘fish’ when I was little! Anything else you'd like to add? I am very grateful that I was provided the opportunity to serve on the Board, and I am so excited to represent Foresthill High School in this position! I hope everyone has a wonderful school year!
