Let me first say, “WOW!” What an awesome NADOA Institute that NADOA and the NADOA Institute Committee prepared for us. THANK YOU! The week after Institute, HADOA welcomed Alex Kuiper from Kuiper Law Firm PLLC to discuss Oil & Gas Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures. This was a great presentation, and we thank Alex for his time and look forward to the next time. Our next Luncheon is in October and HADOA will welcome Caleb Fielder, Senior Manager Eagle Ford Land with Repsol, and this will be our Manager’s Appreciation Luncheon, so we hope to see all those managers. HADOA is currently looking for candidates for the 2024 HADOA Board. We have many open positions: - 2nd Vice President (automatically moves up – 4-year commitment) - 3rd Vice President - Recording Secretary - Corresponding Secretary - Committeeman (3 positions – 2-year commitment) We encourage anyone interested in running to email us at Admin@HADOA.org. PBADOA was thrilled to be able to award two scholarships this year to attend NADOA’s Institute. Our winners were gracious enough to tell us about their experience: I am extremely grateful to receive the scholarship to attend the 50th annual NADOA conference in Louisville, Kentucky. The Omni hotel was gorgeous, and the downtown location was perfect for exploring the area and sampling the vibrant Kentucky cuisine. I enjoyed seeing familiar faces and making new connections with analysts we work with regularly. The Thursday night event at Churchill Downs was so fun. Attendees sported the colorful and flamboyant fashion one would expect from a derby event. We had good food, good
