OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 2025

DRIVEN BY PURPOSE, GROUNDED IN PEOPLE Meet Erin Kocab, Our Director of Operations

No two days at Tittle & Perlmuter are ever the same for me, and that’s how I like it.

We start each day with a morning huddle to celebrate everyone’s personal and professional wins together. That culture of encouragement extends to our community, where we give back through volunteering, like at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. Other team-building exercises help us bond. We really support each other, work hard, and have fun together. At the heart of everything, we’re helping people get back on their feet after a traumatic experience, like a motor vehicle accident, medical malpractice, or nursing home negligence. My favorite part of being on the team is how above and beyond we go for our clients, whether helping them find resources, getting them counseling, or just being someone by their side. We even have a wellness advisor who works with clients throughout their journey. It goes beyond trying to settle their case; we want to show them we care. Whether delivering donations for families recovering from catastrophic events

When I started as director of operations at this firm, I wanted to make a change after working in the automotive security industry for over 20 years. Everything I read about Scott and Allen and their mission aligned well with my core values. They were a small team with a strong, long-term growth vision who believed in giving their all to help people during difficult times. It was a good fit, where I could use my skills to make a difference. This role is truly very diverse, which always keeps things interesting. I could be updating our firm scoreboard, meeting with staff, vetting vendors, or reviewing financials. It’s a mix of big- picture strategy and hands-on problem-solving as I manage all aspects of our business and continuously drive the firm’s goals forward. I work with everyone who touches the firm, from attorneys to intake, paralegals, and outside vendors. You have to be

our beloved rescue dog. She’s the sweetest, and adopting a dog was one of the first things my kids wanted to do as soon as we moved into a home with a fenced yard. She helps us stay active and is an excellent companion. Looking to the future, we are planning in the next 3–5 years to keep growing and help even more people in the community. I’m excited about how we’re expanding already. We recently signed a lease on a new, additional office on the east side and added a new partner. As we continue to grow, I’m proud to be part of a team that leads with heart, stays grounded in purpose, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done. The work we do at Tittle & Perlmuter matters, and every milestone we reach is another opportunity to better serve our clients and community. I’m grateful daily to build something meaningful with a group of compassionate people who share the same drives, values, and mission.

or organizing lunch and goodie bags when clients visit, we just want to make a difference for them. Outside the office, family is everything for me, and we love doing home renovation projects. I try to get outside as much as possible, even though it’s tough sometimes in Ohio to garden or walk

hardworking and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Having a culture of support is essential at our firm, and I work to ensure we’re on the same page. We introduced the firm scoreboard to track positive cases and what we’re doing for our clients.

“AT THE HEART OF EVERYTHING, WE’RE HELPING PEOPLE GET BACK ON THEIR FEET AFTER A TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE, LIKE A MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT, MEDICAL MALPRACTICE, OR NURSING HOME NEGLIGENCE.”

CHEERS TO 10 YEARS

Celebrating a Decade of Dedication and Community Impact

When we started Tittle & Perlmuter, our mission was to help people, guide them through some of the most difficult moments in their lives, and fight for truth and justice. It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years since we took that big leap, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished. We want to thank everyone, from past clients and staff to community members, for joining us on Sept. 4 to celebrate this milestone. What started

as a small firm with a big vision has grown into a team of passionate advocates committed to making a difference across Ohio. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of our skilled attorneys, colleagues, clients, and the community we love to call home. We were thrilled to mark this occasion at our Cleveland office with a celebration that honored our past and the people who have been so important on this journey. We had an incredible turnout, and the night was filled with gratitude, live music, and great food. We want to give special thanks to our local vendors, food trucks, and live string trio who helped make this evening truly unforgettable. As a firm that cares deeply about giving back to the community, we are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped us raise funds for Hanson

House during our event. This nonprofit does excellent work supporting people living with traumatic brain injuries, offering them chances for community involvement, personal growth, and independence. Their clubhouse is the first of its kind in the state and helps more than 200 TBI survivors throughout northern Ohio. We know firsthand how much TBIs can change daily life for those impacted and their families, and we are proud to sponsor them. Our 10th anniversary event highlighted how far we have come, the lives we’ve helped, and the values that continue to drive us forward. As we look to the future, we’ll always remain committed to standing up for those who need justice and continue growing in ways that serve our clients and community even better. Thank you again for being part of our story. Here’s to the next 10 years and beyond!

4. Easy Halloween Fun for Kids (Without Losing Your Mind)

FUN, NOT FUSSY Halloween has a way of sneaking up on you. One day, it’s back to school, and the next, you’re knee-deep in costume negotiations and candy debates. But here’s the good news: You don’t need an over-the-top haunted house or a monthlong Pinterest board to make the holiday memorable. With a few simple ideas, you can turn Halloween into a tradition your kids look forward to without totally exhausting yourself! GLOW-IN-THE-DARK EGG HUNT Who says egg hunts are just for spring? Fill plastic eggs with small candies, stickers, or tiny trinkets, toss in a glow stick bracelet or glow-in-the-dark sticker, and scatter them in the yard or house. With the lights off and flashlights on, it’s like Halloween hide and seek!

Nail Halloween With Minimal Effort

COSTUME CREATION STATION You can forget the overpriced store-bought outfits that tear before dinner on Halloween night. Set up a costume creation corner with old clothes, cardboard boxes, fabric scraps, and safe accessories. Let the kids go wild designing their own characters. These can be superheroes, TV characters, animals, or fun foods. PUMPKIN PAINTING PARTY Carving can be fun, but it’s not always kid-friendly. Painting pumpkins is safer, cleaner, and just as festive. Grab some nontoxic paints, markers, and stickers, and let your kids transform their pumpkins into silly, spooky, or sparkly works of Halloween art. HAUNTED STORY WALK Set up a path around your backyard or hallway with hidden story pages or flashlight stations. Each stop reveals part of a spooky (but age-appropriate) tale. For an extra-special touch, have an older sibling or adult dress up and narrate along the way. SPOOKY SNACK LAB Host a kitchen “lab” where your little monsters whip up their own creepy creations. Think monster trail mix, pretzel broomsticks, mummy-wrapped hot dogs, or bubbling punch with dry ice. The process is half the fun, and the mess is part of the Halloween magic.
