The number of townhome listings in the Fraser Valley board area decreased to 1,384 in August, 9% below last month but 8% higher than last year. At 321, townhome sales were down 16% vs July but 9% above last year. The sales-to-listings ratio, at 23%, remained favour- able to sellers. The benchmark price in August was $521,400, virtually unchanged from last month and 5% lower vs last year. The average sold price was 2% lower between July and August, at $558,992, while the average PSF sales price was virtually unchanged (at $369).
