The 1,901 detached listings in Surrey in August were down 7% month-over-month and year-over-year. August’s detached sales (260 homes) were down by 3% vs July but 17% above August 2018. The sales-to-listings ratio slightly increased in August, to 14%, as Surrey’s detached market remained balanced. At $1.05M, the benchmark price for detached homes was 0.5% below July and 5% lower vs August 2018. The average sold price of $1.11M was 7% higher month-over-month but 4% below August of last year.
