We’re excited to welcome you to the inaugural Welter Bro’s Angus Production Sale. This group reflects the progress we’ve made in our program so far, featuring what we consider our top end and most proven genetics. Opportunities like this are only possible because of the loyalty and confidence our private treaty customers have placed in us in the past. We’ve built our herd to deliver maternal strength, longevity, performance, and the kind of phenotype that stands out in the pasture. We believe maternal merit and pounds drive profitability, and we take a practical, commercial-minded approach to our seedstock operation. If it doesn’t work for our customers, it doesn’t work for us. As of this writing, we’ve experienced recent, record highs in the cattle market. What an exciting time to be in the business! Strong prices and tight inventories mean good genetics matter more than ever and pay. We’re proud to stand alongside our customers by offering bulls that not only perform today but help build lasting success for years to come. This year’s group are our best genetics yet. They offer as good of function, phenotype, pedigree, and EPD’s as we’ve raised to date. Over 75% of this offering are embryo transfers straight out of our donor lineup and some of the best donors across the country. The bulls have been developed in a large pasture setting meant to ensure their future longevity and performance within your herd. Visitors are welcome any time prior to the sale to view the cattle. Join us at 5 p.m. for supper featuring a ribeye steak sandwich grilled by the Jones County Cattlemen.
