a diverse group of undergraduate Kappas from the nation’s colleges and universities during non-Conclave years. Designated by Greek letters (e.g., Alpha, Beta, Gamma), each class participates in a highly structured, intensive curriculum of classroom learning and immersive field expe- riences. The program is designed to increase participants’ capacity to lead on campus and in their communities as emerging professionals and within Kappa Alpha Psi. The 7-day program provides more than 75 hours of instruction and hands-on learning in which collegiate members learn about various leadership styles, attend infor- mative presentations and educational workshops, and undertake leadership roles on diverse teams configured as ULI chapters.
Beginning Saturday, June 1st, the 2024 ULI was hosted in Charlotte, North Carolina, under ULI Director, 58th Junior Grand Vice Polemarch, and 70th Guy L. Grant Awardee Krister- pher J. Smith and Dean of Curriculum and 57th Guy L. Grant Awardee Dr. Charles H.F. Davis III. Eighty-eight of the Fraternity’s best and brightest
undergraduates from 69 colleges and universities representing all 12 provinces arrived as members of the Lambda Klass. The week-long program began with an opportunity to fellow- ship and fraternize with each other during a brief welcome luncheon and orientation session.
