informed consent within their chapters and on campus. Following Brother McGee, participants underwent a 1-hour session with Dr. Terrence Harper II, Associate Director for Com- munity Access & Wellbeing at UNC Charlotte, to discuss mental health and emotional well-being as high-achieving men. To conclude the day, participants developed names, shields, and calls for their respective chapters, comprised of 8-9 participants each and guided by a ULI Chapter Advisor. After a 1-hour chapter meeting in breakout rooms, each of the 10 chapters returned to the main instructional area to present their newly created identities that best encapsulated its members. Day 3 of the institute focused exclusively on the theme of leadership.
Participants prepared for the day’s activities with a 7:30 am guided med- itation session to ground their energy and expectations. Robinson III (Pittsburgh (PA) AL 1992). The brothers then went to a nearby Fahrenheit restaurant for a rooftop luncheon sponsored by the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation. Subse- quent sessions included “Moral and Ethical Leadership” with the 62nd Junior Grand Vice Polemarch Christo- pher G. Cross, “Visionary Leadership”
