Dedner (Fayetteville (AR) AL 2000), a Senior Executive, Lowe’s Home Improvement. Day 7 of the institute brought together various learning opportuni- ties for the final day of programming. Beginning the day, corporate partner Macy’s, which has recently developed an exclusive and versatile product collection with Kappa Alpha Psi (and other Divine Nine fraternities), facilitated a vital etiquette and attire session to familiarize participants with the various styles and fashions for different professional occasions. Broth- ers then attended a formal etiquette lunch with consultant Sonya Barnes, who provided significant insight into conducting oneself during business meals and formal dining experiences with professional peers. Rounding out

the day, brothers met with experienced litigator Harold W. Cogdell, Esq. (Mu Iota 1989) to better understand the legal risks and responsibilities as college men and members of the fra- ternity as well as the broader criminal legal system and its disproportionate impact and young men of color. Immediately following, Kappa Alpha Psi Director of Risk Management Jason A. Hall spoke to participants regarding the Fraternity’s systems and processes to ensure the Fraternity brand and organization remain protected from potential liabilities associated with socials and events hosted by individual chapters. Brother Hall stressed the importance of ‘proper prior planning’ with the university and the chapter advisor to comply with the exist- ing campus and fraternity policies.

Concluding the day was a social outing at nearby Top Golf, where brothers could fellowship, compete on the driving range, and exchange reflections on their week-long experience. The ULI concluded on Saturday, June 8th, with the fraternity’s funda- mental purpose of achievement as its final theme. After class photos, the Lambda Class and institute staff pro- cessed into the tiered board room to Elgar’s “Pomp and Circumstance” for commencement exercises. Carl Owens (Kappa Eta 2021) opened the cere- mony with the invocation, followed by a delivery of the occasion by Director of Undergraduate and University Affairs Trenton Nettles. ULI Dean Dr. Davis then recounted the collective achievements of the Lambda Klass, which included completing more than
