“IN HIS REMARKS, BROTHER MCMIKLE IMPLORED THE FUTURE OF KAPPA ALPHA PSI TO REMAIN COMMITTED AND STEADFAST IN THEIR RELENTLESS PURSUIT OF ACHIEVEMENT. ”

4,200 collective hours of instruction and 600 hours of community service in the Charlotte metropolitan area. Brother Watt followed Brother Davis by introducing Grand Pole- march Jimmy McMikle, who served as the Lambda Klass commencement speaker. In his remarks, Brother McMikle implored the future of Kappa Alpha Psi to remain committed and steadfast in their relentless pursuit of achievement. Using the parable of The Great Migration led by Wildebeests across Tanzania’s Serengeti, the largest intact animal migration in the world, Brother McMikle described the “long, rough, and rugged” road during the more than 1,000-mile journey to greener pastures in Kenya. He drew parallels to the many and varied challenges life

offers in our journeys, reminding the audience that, despite facing obstacles, one must be persistent, dedicated, and courageous in the face of adversity. Upon concluding, the brothers rose to deliver a standing ovation for the Grand Polemarch. After the keynote address, each participant was called by their chapter advisor to receive the

certificate of completion, an official Undergraduate Leadership Institute pin, and a graduation photo with the ULI leadership team and Grand Polemarch McMikle. Then, after all names were called, the ULI Dean and the Grand Polemarch conferred the official status of Kappa Fellow upon the Lambda Klass. ♦
