Alumni Chapter and various members of the Grand Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi®. The attendees arrived during the children’s portion of their Youth Sunday Service, seemingly continuing the overarching theme of passing the baton to the next generation and train- ing their leadership capabilities. The sermon touched on using God-given discernment to recognize when it’s time to “Get Out” of situations that are not beneficial and could cause setbacks in one’s journey. As they transitioned out of the service, they fellowshipped with the Tampa Alumni and additional members of the Grand Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi. Many brothers could be seen conversing with one another and sharing stories of their time in the fraternity. After departing, the next

stop was where they would spend the most significant chunk of their day: The USF campus. Situated in the Temple Terrace area of Tampa, Florida, the campus of USF artfully crafts an atmosphere of innovation and learning. Once they changed into clothes from their respective universities, finished their second and third plates of food, and settled into the classroom for the day, Brother Kristerpher Smith introduced the next presenter, Brother Dr. Kevin Sneed. Usually, when thinking of leadership training, most people think of team-building exercises, elevator pitches, or negotiation training. Of course, Kappa trains for leadership and achievement in every field of human endeavor, and the proceeding session

did not disappoint. Dr. Sneed’s session focused specifically on health and awareness in the Black community, as he addressed the lack of population growth within the African American community, talked about the actual ramifications of blood-related diseases in the Black community, and Covid- 19’s fatal effects on those who suffer with them. His call-to-action? Take the knowledge given and spread it as leaders in our communities. The students then transitioned into the USF Athletic facility, where they heard encouraging words from Brother B.J. Daniels, whose story is an unfinished, yet inspiring tale of perse- verance and humility. Using scripture references from the Deuteronomy and 1:Corinthians, he told a story replete
