with setbacks, but more importantly, the comebacks and continued fight for achievement. His inspiring story reminded them to draw wisdom from every situation and persevere despite their environment or upbringing. Next, they headed back to the class- room to enjoy a workshop on police interactions and how to navigate the law in a safe and legally sound manner. Then Senior Grand Vice Polemarch Jimmy McMikle, Western Province Polemarch Tim Woods, and National Bar Association President-Elect Brother Dominique Calhoun led this session. This workshop allowed the brothers to release some stress through comedic skits surrounding police-civil- ian interactions while fostering a safe space for honest conversations about

sensitive subjects within the African American community. Following a Kahoot! presentation by Brother Trenton Nettles about the history of Kappa Alpha Psi and Risk Management, LPGA and PGA certi- fied golfer Mackenzie Mack stopped by to teach them about the game of golf, jobs associated with it, and more about using golf as a common ground and communication medium for

networking and business. Her insight was well placed, especially since she’s one of only fourteen PGA-certified Black Women worldwide, which is a testament to her tenacity and skill. Participants benefited immediately from her expertise because the day’s final stop was a group fellowship at Topgolf in Tampa. Along the way, they were given hats from Trap Golf, who created one specifically for the LEAD
