“STUDENTS SPOKE ABOUT THE ASSISTANCE THEY WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE AND LEARNED MORE ABOUT HOW TO REACH OUT, WHERE TO FIND INFORMATION, AND THE AVAILABLE RESOURCES.”

Philanthropist Dana Pace. This session started as a panel where brothers could talk about how they ended up in their roles and how Kappa played a part. They then separated into five groups, allowing the brothers to converse intimately with the panelists. After this session, they returned and shared what they learned from each of the brothers and how they plan to implement some of the lessons daily. The brothers closed the day out with the start of the 86th Grand Chapter and public meetings. After participating in the official business of the fraternity all day on Wednesday, the brothers closed out LEAD Kappa with a graduation cer- emony on Thursday. The ceremony included words from the 31st Grand

Polemarch, Dwayne M. Murray, Esq., Junior Grand Vice-Polemarch Myles Miller, and Grand Polemarch Jimmy McMikle. Each brother had an oppor- tunity to have their name called and a picture taken. They ended with wise words and a call to action from the Director, Brother Smith. By the end

of the 86th Grand Chapter meeting, the participating Brothers knew at least 50 new brothers, a couple of new strolls, and memories to last a lifetime. They understood that the fraternity’s future was in their hands, and based on what the leadership team saw, the future was bright. ♦
