Placing our e-book into libraries will be a first for a D9 organization. Libraries primarily acquired e-books from a network of book distributors. “The Fraternity must make the e-book available to these book distributors. Once a library selects our e-book for its collection, patrons can check out our e-book from its electronic bookshelf. For each checkout, the Fraternity receives a small royalty payment. Once we make the e-book available, our next challenge is to raise awareness among library curators, especially those with Black American literary collections, to acquire The Story ,” emphasized Brother Williams, on the importance of the initiative. ♦

members visited the Woodruff Library’s archival materials on Kappa Alpha Psi. One item with which many were captivated was an original pro- gram for the Southeastern Provincial Council hosted in Atlanta, Georgia, November 22-24, 1948. The Frater- nity chartered Gamma Kappa at that Southeastern Province Council with the Grand Polemarch at the time, J. Ernest Wilkins Sr., presiding over the chartering ceremonies. In addition to the 6th Edition , the Robert W.
