Donald R. Clark 1941-2023 Educator, Retired Federal Government, Mathematician, Entrepreneur

Clark demonstrated love and compassion through a myriad of community services efforts. He also expressed his faith and love for God and was a faithful member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Brother Clark is survived by Genola Atkins Clark a loving wife of 59 years; Kevin Clark Sr. (son) of Laurel, MD; Cassandra Jones of Havre de Grace (daughter); Marion Jordon (sister) of Jackson, MS; Grandchildren: Kayla Jones, Braylen Jones, Kevin Clark Jr.; Sisters-in-law: Lula Morgan of Dayton, OH; Margaret Jackson (Samuel) of Yellow Springs, OH; Thelma Giles of Greenville, MS; Brother- in-law: Willie Atkins of Chicago, IL; Close friend: Dr. Malvin A. Williams Sr. and a host of family members, friends, and the brothers of Aberdeen (MD) Alumni Chapter. ♦

D onald Rogers Clark (Gamma Pi 1961) entered the Chap- ter Invisible on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at age 81. He was born on February 8, 1941, in Claiborne County, Mississippi to the late Rogers and Elmira Clark. He received his ele- mentary and high school education in Lorman, Mississippi. He later attended college and received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Alcorn State University (Lorman, Mississippi) and a Master’s Degree at Morgan State University (Baltimore, Maryland). After graduating, Clark taught Mathematics at Coleman High School in

Greenville, Mississippi. Later he was employed at the Bal- listic Research Laboratory (BRL) and Testing and Eval- uation Command (TECOM) at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Upon retirement, Donald and his wife Genola started an Assisted Living business, D & G Home Care for Army Veterans.

Brother Clark worked alongside six other brothers to charter the Aberdeen (MD) Alumni Chapter on November 24, 1974. He held var- ious offices with the local chapter, was a Life member, and was an active participant of many Senior Kappa activities. Brother
