The number of townhome listings in Richmond fell to 421 in September, 11% below the previous month but a 25% increase vs September 2018. The 74 townhome sales in September were 37% above August and 111% higher year-over-year. The townhome sales-to-listings ratio jumped to 18%, as Richmond’s townhome market transitioned to balanced market territory. The benchmark price for townhomes in September was $767,300, 1.0% below August and 11% lower than in September 2018. The average sold price was $780,026 (1.7% above August) with an average PSF sales price of $542 (3% above August).
