GRAHAM APPOINTED AS DELIVERY PARTNER FOR £630M REGENERATION SCHEME
McLaughlin & Harvey has been awarded the main construction works at a major new green transport initiative in Dundee after councillors accepted their £11.1m bid. DUNDEE GREEN TRANSPORT HUB CONTRACT SECURED BY MCLAUGHLIN & HARVEY
Belfast City Council has selected GRAHAM as its long- term private sector partner to deliver residential-led, mixed- use, sustainable developments across multiple sites. With an overall development potential of c£630m, an initial phase will leverage Council- owned sites with a development value of £280m to deliver mixed-tenure homes in the city. The first four council-owned sites to be developed are Exchange Street & Corporation Street, Gloucester Street, Inner North West South and Ormeau Cluster.

park, delivered as part of SCAPE Scotland’s framework, will include installing 350 EV charging points supported by a solar panel array on the roof, battery storage system, car share spaces and an e-bike hire service. The area surrounding the car park will include enhanced landscaping with active travel routes designed to accommodate future active travel connections and development. The Green Transport Hub & Spokes initiative was allocated £14.4m from the previous UK Government’s Levelling Up Fund, with £1.6m for the main works coming from Transport Scotland’s Active Travel Infrastructure Fund. McLaughlin & Harvey recently completed the construction and CAT A fit-out of Eden Campus, Unilever’s new UK headquarters. The site comprises two office blocks providing 290,000sqft of commercial accommodation and a multi-storey car park in Kingston upon Thames. www.mclh.co.uk

HENRY BROTHERS CELEBRATES 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF NOTTINGHAM OFFICE
Contractor Henry Brothers is celebrating the 10th anniversary of opening its first office in England with record turnover of £65m for the region. Part of the Northern Ireland- based Henry Brothers Group, the company set up in Nottingham in February 2015 and subsequently opened another office in Manchester in September 2022.
