GRATITUDE AND GOOD FOOD On Friday, Nov. 22, we gathered to celebrate our second annual Firms-giving, a cherished tradition born from the creative mind of our paralegal, Mary. What started as her idea has quickly become one of our favorite moments of the year, a time to step away from the busyness of work and come together as a team to share food, gratitude, and laughter. Each team member prepared a dish to contribute, and let’s just say we might have some hidden culinary talent in the office! With home-baked oatmeal cookies, creamy mac and cheese, juicy and flavorful turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, a vibrant veggie tray, and so much more, the spread was nothing short of a feast. We joked that we not only have sharp legal minds but also the skills to compete on the next season of a top cooking show! As we gathered around the table, we each took a moment to share what we were most grateful for this year. It was a heartfelt experience that reminded us of the importance of slowing down and appreciating the people and moments that make life meaningful. After dinner, we kept the fun going with games, laughter, and plenty of good-natured competition. Firms-giving has quickly become a tradition that reflects what makes our firm special: teamwork, gratitude, and the ability to enjoy each other’s company both in and outside of work. It was a beautiful reminder that when we come together, we are more than colleagues — we’re family.
