NovaVision Acquires Precision Converting Technologies NovaVision, a producer of high-security identification and authentication solutions, has acquired Precision Convert- ing Technologies, Hudson, Wisconsin. PCT, based in Hudson, Wisconsin, specializes in ad- vanced security products and solutions, including ID and bank card security laminates, passport laminates, custom labels, and custom precision converting capabilities that serve various industries. NovaVision product offerings, in- clude security hologram labels; tamper-evident labels and tamper-evident tapes; mechanical seals and authentica- tion solutions; custom security printing and serialization; and flexographic, digital, and screen-printed labels.
Inovar Packaging Group, a packaging and label printing solutions provider, has acquired ModTek, a manufacturer of labels located in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey.
Specializing in pressure-sensitive and extended con- tent labels, ModTek serves a diverse range of sectors. These include food, craft beer, wine, spirits, and con- sumer durable goods, with the company’s advanced printing technology complementing Inovar’s estab- lished capabilities. Shawn Borman, who founded ModTek in 2006 along- side his mother Vicki Wilkinson, and became the sole own- er in 2019, will remain in charge of the business.
