Get your kids moving and thinking this summer! Join us once a month at Lake Susan Park for our free drop-in Math in the Park event series. Each standalone event will include a fun featured activity that can be modified for any age and ability level.

Chanhassen’s adaptive recreation program is a cooperative effort between the City of Chanhassen and Reach for Resources, an organization dedicated to providing programs designed for individuals with disabilities. Adaptive programming for adults runs throughout the year and includes sports leagues, art classes, special events, support groups and more. Inclusion support is provided at no cost to any child or adult participating in a Chanhassen Parks & Recreation program.

Paddlers will meet at Lake Ann Boat Launch. Class begins with a peaceful paddle to find a calm spot, followed by mindful meditation and grounding exercises. Carver County Library Storytimes Join us for storytimes this spring through May 8. Toddler storytimes take place on Mon. at 10:30 a.m. with family storytimes at 10:30 a.m. on Tue., 10:30 a.m. on Wed., and 3:30 p.m. on Sun. Baby lap-sit storytime is at 10:30 a.m. on Thu. Summer storytimes begin June 9 with toddler storytimes on Mon. at 10:30 a.m. and family storytimes on Wed. at 10:30 a.m. Craft Supplies Swap Why buy new when you can use other crafters’ leftovers and no- longer-wanted tools? Donations accepted May 9-16 during library hours. Donate to receive a free pass for early entrance on pick-up day, Saturday, May 17. You don’t need to donate to participate. All donated supplies are free while supplies last. The swap is open: 10-11 a.m. for those with a pass, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for the public, 2-3 p.m. for clean-up.

The Library has partnered with Communities of Belonging for a weekly Saturday gathering at 10 a.m. and a 3 rd Thursday “All Are Welcome” program. Programs on the 2 nd Saturday include a Card-making Workshop on May 10. Check the calendar for other activities.
