Mason Kincaid, PLC System Testing Technician from Eagle Rock, is now living his dream of being a farmer. At age 14, he began his farming journey on his grandfather's beautiful land in West Virginia. When his grandfather passed the land down to him, Mason knew he would fully pursue his lifelong passion. Hobbies The first animal Mason acquired was a sheep that he showcases at the West Virginia State Fair. Since that initial purchase, he has diversified his farm to include a variety of animals, such as ducks, pigs, cows, chickens, turkeys, and donkeys. The West Virginia State Fair, known for its livestock exhibitions, has provided Mason with many opportunities for success. Mason has consistently performed well, earning various awards. His achievements at the fair have elevated the profile of his farm and inspired other aspiring young farmers in the community.

Mason's involvement in showing livestock was influenced by a family friend who previously led a 4-H program in Neola, WV. Under this mentorship, Mason developed the skills necessary to showcase animals effectively. Currently, Mason exhibits pigs, sheep, and cattle at the West Virginia State Fair.

Notably, Mason has discovered that his cows prefer Doritos, which help keep them calm during shows, while his pigs enjoy miniature marshmallows as a treat. When asked about his favorite animal on the farm, Mason expressed his compassion for a bottle-fed calf that continues to hold a special fondness and mutual bond.
