April 2025 Employee Newsletter

INTEGRATION NEWS The first quarter of the integration has passed rapidly and many have asked, "What is going on regarding large dryers?” While it may seem quiet, the diligent focus is happening in the background and not yet visible. The team is learning as much as possible about the product line, inside/outside processes, necessary equipment, fixtures, jigs, vendors, etc. All of this is critical for us to manufacture and assemble these products within Maag Gala.

What is the focus right now?

• Engineering is incorporating drawings into our system in order to manufacture using our current equipment. • Training sessions have been conducted in Eagle Rock and Minnesota for Inside Sales / Sales Engineering and Welding / Mechanical. • Granby facility in Roanoke, VA - we ran into a delay when sourcing the crane for assembly. We needed a minimum height, floor to hook to lift and stand the D1050 dryer. The height of the building was posing a challenge. It took time to achieve, and we have sourced the crane that will not require major facility modifications. The crane order is now placed, and we anticipate its installation completed mid- November.

When will we see something happening in production?

• The blades and kickers for the first D1050 rotors are scheduled to be lasered mid-April, the drum and end plates have been ordered with a scheduled delivery of May 5. • Fixtures and jigs scheduled to ship from CD April 30. • Welding of the first rotor is scheduled to start May 12.
