These heifers are January through March born calves that have been on a full vaccination program with four rounds of shots at birth, pasture turn out, pre weaning and at weaning. In December they were bangs vaccinated, pelvic measured, checked open and breedable. They were given Bovi shield gold FP5/VL5 type A shot and EID bangs tags by Dr. Cassie Holtz from the Bowdle Vet Clinic. They have never had creep feed and have been on a 45 mega cal ration, salt blocks and were given safeguard dewormer in November. On sale day the heifers should be averaging around 750-800 pounds. These heifers are backed by a long line of Crosshair Simmental genetics as well as other reputable breeders and 30 plus years of AI breeding. We have a shot record, pelvic measurements and Neogen DNA data available upon request. Due to our calving work load in February and March the heifers will remain at the ranch free of charge and will be available to pick up March 15th- April 1st. After April 1st feed and yardage cost will be added. We ask that the heifers be paid for in full within 10 days of the sale via check or wire tranfer. These heifers are the top pick of our 2025 heifer crop. They were picked out of 250 heifers and were chosen by maternal, disposition and longevity characteristics. The heifers were given Inforce 3, One Shot BVD, 7-Way with Somnus and Pinkeye shots on June 1st. Then on November 21st they were boosted with Bovi Shield Gold 5, Somubac and poured with Cleanup. Before delivery they will be checked open and breedable, Bangs vaccinated, given Cattlemaster VL5 and poured with Cleanup. These heifers have been on a 44 mega cal ration since December and have never had creep feed or implants and are carrying no brands. The heifers will be weighing around 700 pounds. These heifers are all April-born calves and have heavy influence of Crosshair Simmental genetics along with AI breeding and should make a great set of cows. We are offering free delivery within 150 miles of Dawson, ND. We would like the heifers to be delivered or picked up by the 20th of February. Payment should be made via check or wire transfer within 10 days of the sale.
