the sale. If a problem arises with your purchase, CHSR must be notified before Sept 1, 2026. After notification of issue, CHSR has 90 days to make an adjustment of said problem. It is the buyer’s responsibility to return the bull to CHSR at the buyer’s expense. If the bull is declared unsatisfactory by the Steele Veterinary Clinic, the buyer will be provided with a bull of equal value, if one is avail- able, or given credit (minus salvage value) towards the purchase at a future sale. We will do everything we can to make any situation satisfactory for our customers. We recommend insuring your bull in the case of an unexpected fatality or issues out of our control, as they become property of the new owner at the conclusion of the auction. Bull Development: Bulls have not been creep fed. They were developed on pasture as yearlings until September 15th. We worked with Joel Ostendorf of CHS nutrition to provide a balanced mixed ration of corn, dry distillers, chopped hay, corn silage along with complete liquid mineral package that allows them to develop without sacrificing their longevity. Online Bidding: The sale will be held on DVAuction.com in an online only bidding style. The sale will open to bidding February 1st and conclude on Feb 4th at 6 p.m. Bidding will extend 3 minutes on all lots for each bid past 6 p.m. until no other bids are received. Prior approval from DV Auction is required in order to bid, so please plan ahead. Terms and Conditions: Bulls are to be paid for by cash or check at the conclusion of the sale. All buyers will be mailed an invoice to be paid as soon as possible. No animals will leave the ranch without payment. Any changes to the catalog will be posted on DVAuction and our web- site prior to the sale. All cattle sell under the terms and conditions of the American Simmental Association. Delivery Bulls will be delivered around March 1st. Any bulls that are picked up within a week of the sale will receive a $100 credit per bull towards their purchase price. Please notify us upon purchase if you plan to pick up your bulls. All bulls must be paid for in full before leaving CHSR. We offer free delivery within 250 miles of our ranch, and we will work with the buyer to arrange the most cost-effective delivery for distances beyond 250 miles. Genomic-Enhanced EPDs: All of the bulls selling in the sale will have Genomic Enhanced EPDs and have been parent verified to sire. We believe GE EPDs provide you with the most accurate EPDs possible. Guarantee: CHSR guarantees to provide you with a bull that has passed a semen and soundness evaluation by the Steele Vet Clinic prior to Cattl e View ing: Bulls can be viewed at the ranch any time prior to the sale. We will be hosting a special open house to view the bulls on Saturday, January 31 from Noon to 5 p.m. at the ranch. Visitors to the ranch prior to the sale will be entered into a drawing for $500 sale credit to be drawn prior to the sale. Being the auction format is a video- only sale, we highly recommend coming to evaluate the bulls prior to sale time.
