PRESIDENT'S REPORT BILL DARDEN
This is my first report as Board President. I am truly honored to be President and a part of a Board with the primary goal of supporting the residents of Seven Lakes to the best of our ability. We may not be able to please everyone, but our goal is
to try. We all will have differing opinions but that is what makes us a great community. Listening to and discussing all opinions, comments, etc., is important. We have a great community with varying expertise we can tap into. I mentioned recently at our Board Workshop on March 15th, but I wanted again to congratulate the re-election of Hugh Ripps and Sach Mathur and congratulate Mike Trageser for being elected to the Board of Directors. Along with the other Board Members, we will work hard for the community. Hurricane Ian was devasting and we still have a lot to do. Our primary mission is to work to get residents back into their condos. We have hurdles to overcome but are tirelessly working every day to move forward. Progress is slow, but actions are improving and we will continually push for answers and actions. Our Board has a responsibility to our residents. In addition, the Board, Management, and Staff are going to work hard in watching all expenses. We will not spend resources unless we have to and ensure every expense is important and essential to Seven Lakes.

TROY SPECKMAN, PGA HEAD GOLF PROFESSIONAL PRO SHOP UPDATE
It has been another crazy season. We have seen a record number of rounds played and some great golf being played! We have welcomed several new residents and said goodbye to several residents as well. The Club Championship is scheduled for Sunday, April 16th. All play starts on the first hole unless otherwise directed by the Starter or Pro Shop. Every player is required to check in prior to the start of their round.
If you would like to play in the afternoon prior to 5:00pm, please put your request in Chelsea to secure your time. Proper golf attire is required on the course as well as in all practice areas. Guest fees must be paid on the day of play or if you play after business hours, you must pay the next day.
GOLF COURSE UPDATE As we head into April, drought conditions have been persistent throughout our area. As mentioned last month, expect the lakes to continue to lower until we receive some appreciable rain. Until rainy season arrives, we will be gradually increasing irrigation application frequencies and amounts to the golf course as the turf requires. Expect increased hand and sprinkler watering events during golf play to tackle stubborn, dry areas that will periodically appear. Our department is currently preparing for the summer golf course cultivation practices and the summer schedule of events can be found on the Seven Lakes website and at the Pro Shop.
J.R. IRWIN DIRECTOR OF GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE
As a reminder, the greens will receive their first Aerification on Monday, April 24th, so the course will be closed for that day. Beginning May 3rd, the course will be closed every Wednesday for maintenance throughout the summer months. For those residents departing Seven Lakes for the summer, we wish you safe travels, and to all, we wish you a happy Easter holiday.

OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE 10
JORGE ABREU DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS OPERATIONS UPDATE
The month of April brings warmer weather and sunny days. The Contracts Department continues to work on the many projects throughout the community to help restore Seven Lakes to the community we all love. It has been rough going, however, we continue to push forward. We have made advances in many areas, but others have been at a slower pace. Please know the team at Seven Lakes is dedicated to the reconstruction efforts alongside keeping things running. Marcy and I, the
whole team for that matter, appreciates the kind words
I normally give you all a brief list of projects and their status however this month most of the projects are being updated in the hurricane updates.
As always thank you for the opportunity to serve.
MAINTENANCE UPDATE
TONY DOCKETT MAINTENANCE MANAGER
The Maintenace Team is still working on storm issues.
We are installing the roof on Building 5. Jorge and I are getting estimates on Buildings 25 and 3 for renovations. The Maintenance Team is working on broken windows and soffits on all buildings. The HVAC repairs are almost complete on Building 22. The replacement roof on Building 40 is complete.
GROUNDS & COURT ACTIVITIES 11
GROUNDS UPDATE
BRUCE ZERGOTT GROUNDS MANAGER
The Grounds Department has been working on numerous irrigation breaks. A 4-inch mainline pipe at Condo 2 had a break, and Condo 5 had a couple of major breaks. We will be going building by building over the next few weeks to find out what other irrigation problems we have. We are also trying to finalize the landscape projects throughout the property and getting those written up so I can meet with the Condo Reps. We hope the hardwood trimming will be started in April or May, and completed before the rainy season. The palm tree trimming will also be done at the same time.

FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION 15
FINANCE UPDATE
ERIC HERTHA FINANCE DIRECTOR
The Accounting Department is getting ready for the end of our fiscal year and preparing for the annual audit. Additionally, we are loading the new monthly fees into the Northstar system. Starting in April, the Condo Operating and Reserve, the Association Operating and Reserve, and TV/Internet billing will come through for ACH users as a single charge instead of separately. If you have any questions regarding your statement, please stop by the Administration Office.
The Administration Department is currently working hard to catch up on many sets of meeting minutes; this time of year the minutes take a little more time to complete due to the budget meetings and the Annual Meeting. The department is also working on multiple condominium special owners’ meetings related to Hurricane Ian damage. These special owners meetings are required to take place when a vote of a condominium is necessary in order to use reserve funds or approve special assessments to their unit owners. We are doing our best to keep up with these and appreciate your patience with us. ADMINISTRATION UPDATE
BRIANNE LAWRENCE, CAM ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER
This is also the time of year when new committee members and chairpersons are selected. The new committee selections will be approved at the April 26th, Board of Directors Meeting. Just a reminder to all committee chairpersons that your approved meeting minutes should be submitted to me for electronic filing and to make sure it goes to the appropriate source to be placed on the website. The same goes for individual condominium meeting minutes. We would like to congratulate Sach Mathur, Hugh Ripps, and Michael Trageser on their election to the Board of Directors. We would also like to thank Carl Triola for the countless hours of hard work and dedication he provided while serving the Seven Lakes community, as well as John Kennedy and Rick Kelly who ran for the Board. We are looking forward to a great year ahead.
LIFESTYLE 16
LIFESTYLE UPDATE Season is ending and that means we should celebrate all that season brings to Seven Lakes! Season means the number of friends and neighbors increases and with that, so do the bonds, smiles, and memories! While the good times won’t come to an end at “the end” of season, we will take some time to say farewell to some for the summer and thank everyone for making Seven Lakes a great place to live! Mark your calendars and get your tickets early to the End of Season Dance featuring Thunder Beach on Friday, April 21st! During the month, enjoy the array of speakers covering topics of writing, cathedral catastrophes, wildlife, books that
SIOBHAN SOTIR LIFESTYLE DIRECTOR
influenced the world, and, as requested, another women’s self-defense class. These classes are all complimentary and we ask that you still make a reservation for each one. There are some great day trips to include Fisherman’s Village, ECHO Global Farm, Tin City, a “Progressive Dinner,” Seminole Casino, and thrift shopping! Need your Angel Hair? Make plans for that on April 11th. Try your hand at a friendly Cornhole Tournament near The Tee Room on April 13th and enjoy a morning “Equally Epic” showing of “Came From Away” on the 14th. There is a Shred Event on Friday, April 21st from 1:00pm– 3:00pm in the Auditorium Parking Lot, which is a complimentary event. The end of season means the beginning of Thirsty Thursday and on the 27th, we welcome The Wheelhouse Music Group to the stage! What a great month ahead! May kicks off with Music Bingo so you know we will be going strong next month, too! We are also accepting room requests for the next year. Please stop by the Lifestyle Department to complete the necessary form or find it on the website under Community, Resource Center, Forms, then print Room Request Final, complete the form, and bring it to the office. The office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Also this month, we will launch our newest feature the “Joiner’s Table!” You will see Joiner’s Tables appearing for various Lifestyle events where people attending solo or looking to make new friends can sign up for the Joiner’s Table! For the End of Season Party and Thirsty Thursday, we will be utilizing Table 21. You will also be able to take part in the Joiner’s Table in The Tee Room on Friday nights from 5:00pm until close! No reservations are needed for The Tee Room Joiner’s Table, just let us know that’s the table you would like to join, then sit down to have a fabulous time making some new acquaintances at Seven Lakes! Lastly, it is only appropriate that I recognize the team that makes all of this happen, both in the spotlight and behind the scenes. Thank you to Michelle Lauschin, Lyne Germain, Jackie Paez, Dalia Standish, Lori Richards, Terrence Quinlan, and all of our partners in all departments who answer the call to make the Lifestyle programs of Seven Lakes all that they are! We also want to thank you for your support, participation, and suggestions. Together, we truly do make Seven Lakes special!
