P+PB Seeking Nominations For 2025 Open Board Seats

The Paper and Packaging Board (P+PB) announced it is seeking nominees for three open board seats in the fol- lowing regions: one from the South and two from the rest of the U.S. Each of the board seats has a three-year term that begins on January 1, 2025 and ends on December 31, 2027. P+PB is seeking three experienced industry members who can bring deep industry knowledge to the board’s deliberations and represent a range of product sectors including containerboard, paperboard, kraft and printing, writing paper and office paper. Additionally, the board encourages the nomination of diverse candidates including women, minorities, ethnici- ties, and cultures who can bring different perspectives and ideas to the board’s deliberations and discussions. The definition of the South includes Alabama, Arkan- sas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. The remaining states make up the “rest of the US” region designation. Nominations run through May 24. All nominations are submitted to USDA and the Secretary of Agriculture ap- points new board members by the end of 2024.
