WHY MULTIPLE BREEDS?
It makes it incredibly easy for our customers to manage crossbreeding and maintain heterosis in their herds. Whether you keep replacements or buy them, if you use our multi-breed composite bulls, every calf has at least three breeds in it. This gives you roughly 70% of the heterosis of an F1 cross, regardless of your cow breed(s). There’s no need to manage different bull breeds with different groups of cows, you can breed them all the same way every year and still leverage the benefits of heterosis with a uniform calf crop.
