• 2-way, 2-positions Normally Open (Image A): When de-energized, it allows flow in both directions; when energized, flow is blocked • 2-way, 2-position Normally Closed (Image B): When de-energized, it acts as a check valve, allowing flow from 1 to 2 and blocking flow from 2 to 1. When energized, it provides flow from 2 to 1 • 3-way, 2-position (Image C): When de-energized, it allows flow between 2 and 1, while 3 is blocked. When energized, it allows flow between 1 and 3, while 2 is blocked • 4-way, 2-position (Image D): When de-energized, it allows flow from ports 3 to 2 and 4 to 1. When energized, it will enable flow from 3 to 4 and 2 to 1 • Tandem Center (Image E): Used for double-acting cylinders that hold in neutral. Numbers 2 and 4 (work ports) are blocked when de-energized. Flow moves from P to T
