• The performance values listed below are for continuous use conditions. See the drawing for performance curves, including peak and intermittent values. • The optimal operating condition is 1/3 to 2/3 of the continuous-use values. • Standard rotation is clockwise (facing the shaft) when port A is pressurized. • Standard shaft seals for the BM5 series are rated to 1,085 PSI. HPSS to 2900 PSI. • The BM5 and BM5W series does not have internal check valves. Must use case drain. Performance: performance at low speeds. The valve can automatically compensate for wear, increasing volumetric efficiency. Double-taper roller bearings allow the motor to handle high radial loads. These motors are suitable for heavier vehicles in traction drive applications. The BM5 is a high-pressure, large-volume disc valve motor with a radial bearing design that can support heavier loads.
