Looking Back at Our Year of Giving

If I had to pick a theme for 2022, I’d probably call it “The Year of Giving.” Way back in January, my team and I set an ambitious goal to donate a quarter of a million meals to Feeding America this year. One of our strategies was donating ten meals for every order placed on our website. As I write this, we’ve given almost 200,000 meals to people in need!

cooler out, and when we asked them to pose for a picture, the shortest lady in the group climbed on top of it! We’re all standing around her in the photo and barely holding back our laughter.

Giving has definitely been the highlight of 2022 for me, but we’ve also hit a few other significant milestones as a company.

1. We updated our logo to include our new slogan: “You adjust, we supply.” I’m really excited about how it looks!

2. We launched our very own brand, HeartNSoles. It took our team about a year and a half to develop HeartNSoles, and its first product — Blueline Cushion Foam Insoles — debuted this summer. They were very well-received! It was great to see so many chiropractors selling our insoles in their offices. To make it even easier for you to turn a profit with the Blueline insoles, we’re planning to launch a starter pack for you by early January. The pack will include 13 pairs of insoles (by 12, get one free) and a high-end counter display for you to use in your office. I’ve also had a great year on the personal side. Bennett just turned two years old, and Marah and I managed to squeeze in a parents-only trip to the Virgin Islands over Thanksgiving. It was our first getaway since 2019! If you’ve read this far, thank you so much for your support in 2022. Chiro1Source faced many challenges this year, just like every other small business, but with your help, we made it through. And even managed to give back! I’m looking forward to another big year in 2023. We have some unique products lined up to share, and we’re also planning to offer your more training and resources to help you sell those products in your practice and bring in more revenue. Keep an eye on this newsletter for updates.

I can hardly believe the number. We’ve also donated almost 100 meals to local youth sports teams here in the Farmville, North Carolina area. Whether we’re donating canned goods to families or pizza to JV football players, it feels incredible to share our profits in such a meaningful way. We’re truly blessed to have the resources to help our community. I’m confident that by the end of the year, we’ll either meet our donation goal or get right up to the finish line!

Giving back is an essential part of doing business; this year, Chiro1Source took that idea a step further than ever before. Not only did we boost our donations to charity, but we also introduced a giveaway program for clients like you. Hopefully, you remember reading about it in this newsletter! Since the start of 2022, we’ve given away nine Solo Stove fire pits, a YETI cooler, and a Theragun PRO at trade shows and through our monthly website giveaways. (You can check out that program at Chiro1Source.com.) Those giveaways have been so much fun, especially when we meet our clients in person. At The National by FCA chiropractic show in Orlando, we picked a lovely family to win the Yeti cooler. They were joking around when we pulled the

crowds at the local mall. But you can save them the hassle! All you need to do is stock your office with helpful products they can buy as stocking stuffers. Ensure the four items listed here are available near your front desk this holiday season. Your patients can score easy gifts, and you’ll make extra revenue.

According to Our World in Data, the world manufactures more than 270 million tons of plastic annually. About 8 million tons of this plastic winds up in the ocean — that’s 3%!

Plogging, a fad that originated in Sweden to help minimize pollution, is taking the world by storm. Essentially, you jog and pick up litter at the same time! Some cardio and a giant clean-up effort? It’s a great way to enjoy the cool winter temperatures while doing something good for the environment! Plogging can be done with others, at any time, and pretty much anywhere litter or trash exists. It’s a win-win! The origin of the word “plogging,” according to the Farmer’s Almanac, comes from a combination of jogging and the Swedish word for “pick up,” which is “plocka upp.” All you need is a pair of running shoes, a trash bag, stamina, some free time, and water to stay hydrated! If you’re interested in taking up the hobby or plogging every now and then to make a difference in our environment, here are some tips to keep the activity fun and interesting! HEAD OUT IN GROUPS. Everything is more fun with others! Round up a group of friends, family, or coworkers and join the initiative together. If you’re up for it, you can even make it a contest!

MUST-HAVE GIFT NO. 1: ARCHIES ARCH SUPPORT FLIP-FLOPS

Archies are the shoe of choice for professional athletes, physiotherapists, and podiatrists. It might seem counterintuitive to sell flip-flops when it’s cold outside, but these are fast sellers year-round. Flip-flops inspire people to dream up their next tropical vacation, and these particular pairs are unique because they look like “normal” flip-flops but offer the support and comfort of an orthotic. MUST-HAVE GIFT NO. 2: HEARTNSOLES BLUELINE CUSHION FOAM INSOLES These insoles will come to the rescue when it’s too cold to wear Archies. They are a unisex product (just like Archies!), making it easy for your patients to buy for everyone on their Christmas list. The insoles fit in just about any shoe and are

ADD IN DIFFERENT EXERCISES. Plogging doesn’t only have to incorporate jogging — while gathering trash; you can do squats, burpees, lunges, or even pushups. SWITCH UP ARMS. While plogging, holding the garbage bag in the same hand can become uncomfortable, especially as that bag gets heavier! Be sure to change which arm holds it from time to time! INCORPORATE SPRINTS. If jogging becomes too simple for you, try sprinting between trash to intensify the activity. Plogging is a great way to reduce pollution while getting in your workout! Local parks, neighborhoods, and common areas are a great place to start!

Hey folks, it’s Josh again. After reading this newsletter’s cover, you might wonder, “How has Chiro1Source achieved so much business success this year and managed to give back at the same time?” Well, I have to give credit to my secret weapon: business master coach Nick Davies. Nick and I meet regularly to work on my mindset, challenges, and goals, and he has been a massive driver of Chiro1Source’s success this year. I love his philosophy that you can have your cake AND eat it too. His advice has helped me find “win-win-win-win” business strategies that benefit me, you guys, the people immediately impacted, and the greater good. A few months ago, I was chatting with Nick during one of our strategy sessions when we got onto the topic of chiropractic businesses. I genuinely believe Nick’s principles and concepts can help you just as much as they’ve helped me. So, I talked him into creating a masterclass for readers of my newsletter — and giving you a discount!

Head to Chiro1Source.com right now to place your holiday order — and automatically donate meals to Feeding America while you do it!

For a limited time, you can get 75% OFF Nick’s “Achievers Mindset Masterclass” by visiting Achievers-Mindset.Teachery.co/chiro.

As if that isn’t amazing enough, he’s throwing in a FREE, exclusive 1-on-1 coaching call just for my newsletter readers. You’ll be able to pick his brain about your business, figure out the things holding you back, and get the most out of the masterclass. This is an insanely good deal, especially considering that Nick trained under the business guru Tony Robbins and worked in financial services for 20 years before joining ProAdvisor Coach. You’ll have to work hard and take action to get through the course’s six modules, but the results will be worth it — take it from someone already on the journey. As Nick puts it, “December is a great time to double down because if you win December, then you win the whole year!... This moment is crucial, and that’s why I want you to have the opportunity to max out December, win Q4, and slingshot into 2023.”

Chiro1Source’s Year of Giving 1 Banish Trash With Plogging 2 4 Stocking Stuffers Your Patients Will Love 2 The Business Masterclass You Need 3 How to Impress Visitors This Holiday Season 4

The holidays are rapidly approaching, and soon, we’ll share laughs while enjoying the festivities with our loved ones. Before the celebrations begin, you must prepare your home for visitors, especially if they stay overnight. It can be stressful whether it’s your in-laws, best friends, or distant cousins coming to stay with you. You want to leave a good impression, but how do you ensure everyone’s needs are met, including yours? Here are three tips for setting yourself up for a successful holiday, regardless of who stays with you. STOCK UP ON YOUR GUESTS’ FAVORITES. Have you ever stayed with someone who didn’t have extra food for their guests? Don’t put your guests in this situation. Load up your pantry, refrigerator, and cupboards with your guests’ favorite foods and drinks. If you don’t know what they are, ask ahead of their visit! Your guests will appreciate your conscientious gesture and have a much more enjoyable time if they can eat their favorites while visiting. PREPARE A GUEST ROOM. If your guests are staying with you, you need to prepare somewhere for them to sleep. Make sure you make up the bed, have plenty of pillows and blankets on hand, and provide adequate closet space for their clothes. Even if they aren’t staying in a traditional bedroom, their sleeping area should still be ready when they arrive. Clear off IMPRESS THE GUESTS With These Holiday Hosting Tips

a table for them to use as a nightstand and put sheets on the couch or mattress where they’ll sleep.

USE REAL DISHES. When we have company over for a meal, especially a large gathering, it’s usually easier to use plastic or paper options — saves on cleanup, too! The holidays are not necessarily the time for this shortcut. Break out the fine china if you have it, or use regular dishes for your guests. It’s okay for the kids to have paper plates, but if you want to make a good impression on visiting adults, nicer dishes will dress up the table setting and meal.
