Beans (Continued) has no answer. There is only one an swer. God gave plants, as well as ani mals, their own peculiar, individual instincts. This is exactly what He wants to do for you and me. Turn your life over to Him! He will give you the kind of desires and heart- hungers He wants you to have. He will make your life conform to His will if you will only let- Him have control. You can’t keep a good bean down. After a few days when you have plant ed some beans, you will find that the ARE ALL THE CHILDREN IN? I think oft times as the night draws nigh Of an old house on the hill, The yard all wide and blossom-starred Where the children played at will. And when the night at last came down, Hushing the merry din, Mother would look around and ask, "Are all the children in?" 'Tis many and many a year since then, And the old house on the hill No longer echos to childish feet, And the yard is still, so still. But I see It all, as the shadows creep And though many the years have been since then, I can hear Mother still ask, "Are all the children in?" I wonder if when the shadows fall On the last short earthly day, When we say good-bye to the world outside, All tired with our childish play, When we step out into that other land, Where mother so long has been. Will we hear her ask, just as of old, "Are all the children in?" hard ground has been broken. Al though the shoot is tender and soft it breaks the hard clod weighing more than a pound. This is the power of life. Only God could make it possible. In the same way is the overcoming, victorious Christian life.
