BEES A red clover blossom contains less than l/8 th of a grain of sugar, and 7,000 grains are required to make an ounce of honey. A bee flitting here and there for sweet ness must visit 56,000 clover heads for an ounce of honey. Now since there are about 60 clover tubes in each clover head, a bee must per form that operation 60 times on 56.000 clover heads for a total of 3.360.000 times to secure sweetness enough for one single ounce of honey. Next time we áre tempted to be discouraged with a heavy work load, remember the bees. The Christian doesn’t need a halo on his head but he does need a solo in his 'heart. * HOW TO SPIND A DOLLAR Attempting an unusual experi ment a man took a dollar bill and attached a piece of paper to it asking everybody who had spent the money to write down the pur pose for which it was used, then send it back to him within two weeks of the date mentioned. He promised to replace it. When the dollar was returned, the note indi cated it had been spent five times for salary, six times for tobacco, three times for candy, four times for food, once for automobile parts, once for laundry and once for toothpaste. Does it ogcur to you that God never had a chance with that dollar? “What shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul.” Don’t scoff at a single dollar. The Lord can use it in a mighty way. For, “little is much when God is in it,” particu larly in training the missionaries and spiritual leaders of tomorrow. * *
