The project outline Corso, Nor th Lakes is a significant regional project for the community and Moreton Bay Regional Council. The project has delivered an integrated regional facility that encapsulates successful design elements, enabling reading, networking, skill development, learning, enjoyment and community capacity building. The library features 2,000 square metres of floor space including a reading terrace, reading and study areas, computer training rooms, children’s and young adult spaces and dedicated rooms for library programs.With 55 public computers and a collection of 65,000 items.The building contains a community centre and three levels of commercial office space. It is one of Australia’s first Five Star Green Star rated public buildings.
