Pactics, our manufacturing partner based in Siem Reap, Cambodia, prioritizes the well-being of its factory staff by situating its operations where its employees reside, thus preventing displacement from their families and hometowns. Their commitment to ethical production practices is underscored by their certification under the SA8000 International workplace-quality standard, emphasizing social accountability in hiring, employee treatment, and production practices. Their production facility is a testament to their dedication to employee welfare. Designed by architect Stuart Cochlin, the factory incorporates sustainable features such as 120 solar panels, a biodiesel generator, rainwater harvesting systems, and abundant green spaces to enhance cooling. Additionally, the facility provides amenities such as a library, an on-site nurse, daycare services, and a canteen serving nutritious meals. With a track record of providing their service to leading luxury brands, Pactics now focuses on sharing its expertise with smaller, mission-driven brands across Asia, Europe, and North America, aligning with their shared values and objectives.
Metric is overseen from its central management hub in the UK, with global factory operations situated in Vietnam, where they manage all production and quality control processes. Partner factories undergo rigorous audits conducted by independent organizations like SGS, STR, and Intertek. Moreover, these factories have successfully passed audits by numerous global brands and corporations, meeting their respective standards and requirements. As a supplier, Metric undergoes audits by The Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), an industry-driven movement focused on monitoring and evaluating workplace standards throughout the global supply chain.
