Plastic Tides
Ibiza Preservation
Plastic Tides is a non-profit ocean conser- vation organization that seeks to inspire action through adventure, education and youth empowerment towards a plastic-free future.They are our partners in the USA, to whom we donate all backpacks returned by our customers so that they can have a se- cond life and be used by the team and the organization for their activities.
Ibiza Preservation is a not-for-profit foun- dation that promotes the conservation and regeneration of the unique natural heritage of Ibiza and Formentera by implementing and managing strategic environmental pro- jects in the two islands. To this end, they lead, foster and participate in initiatives that promote the protection of local habitats and more sustainable ways of life. This is the second year that Lefrik donates money to support their cause and activities.
Fundación Emys
It is an environmental organisation for the conservation of natural heritage and wet- lands of Catalonia, with the main goal of ensuring the survival of the endangered turtles Emys orbicularis. Lefrik started to collaborate with this organisation in 2023 through an in-kind donation to equip their team with backpacks and accessories for their field work, as well as a monetary do- nation. This monetary donation was desti- nated to fund their work on protecting the Emys orbicularis, specifically, Lefrik’s team has sponsored one of the turtles in the pro- ject to finance the monitoring and survival of this turtle.
