2024 Goals
— Designing with circularity in mind is at the core of our busi- ness, that is why we have set a new long-term design vision for 2024 with the aim to move towards a more resilient and circular system by using a single material to manufacture each Lefrik product. These mono- material products would allow recyclability to become a much easier task, which is crucial to reduce our environmental impact and fulfill our sustainability goals. Our current use of no-blends fabrics helps us in the long-term to achieve this goal. — In collaboration with IGO, one of our suppliers that is specialised in eco-friendly materials for bags, we are wor- king on coming up with a suitable recycled filling for our products, which is currently the only non-recycled mate- rial used in their production. This project would allow us to acquire a GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification for a specific collection of products, which would join our current GRS certification as company.
