As Committee Chair in 2020- 2021 and Chair Emeritus in 2022, Onyx Equities’ senior vice president of property man- agement and construction, Kristen Pappas , hosted the Leukemia and Lymphoma So - ciety of New Jersey’s Big Climb fundraiser at Gateway Center in Newark, raising more than $315,000 in corporate and per - sonal donations over the past three years. In support of the revitaliza - tion of the Newark community, Onyx Equities also proudly sup- ports All Stars Project of NJ. Through paid summer intern - ships, impactful afterschool workshops and volunteerism in the organization’s 100% free programs, the Onyx team is "hands on and all in". Onyx Equities has raised more than $1 million for All Stars Project of NJ and supports the orga - nization with a high-visibility space at Gateway Center in Newark for All Stars' programs and activities. Onyx Equities received TOBY Awards in the following categories: Renovated Building of the Year - Under the leadership of property manager Katie Grow and building engineer Jose Bedoya for their work at 340 Mount Kemble in Morristown. Onyx Equities recently signed leases with Morgan Stanley and Zelis following the comple - tion of a $50 million capital improvement plan that has transformed the site into a fully amenitized and ultra-modern class A office building.
