For more than 50 years now, professional image has helped set the Averitt team apart. It is also an important part of our brand – our job is to make sure it stays that way. We want our image to continue to set us apart for the next 50 years. Like anything else, leadership sets the tone for how our associates live up to our standards One of the best resources for you as a leader is LeadWell.InsideAveritt.com/Image . This is where you can find the most up-to-date information on our uniform program, image and grooming standards, and processes for new hires. Additionally, we’ve included some tools that can help you reinforce the importance of professional image to your associates: • 2023 Uniformity Catalog: associates will soon receive their own copy directly to their homes. Become familiar with this year’s catalog so you can answer questions. • Allotment Guidelines: from drivers to dock associates this document outlines who is eligible for a Uniformity allotment each year. • Image Standards: a quick reference that shows how an associate should look when in uniform. • Grooming Standards: not sure how long facial hair can be? Refer to this reference sheet for clarification on hair and facial hair guidelines. • Uniform Exchange: associates can get a free shirt when they turn in five old ones. • Shirt Voucher: help your associates maintain our professional image standards by providing them with a voucher to be used toward new uniform shirts. • Clean Hat Program: hats can get dingy and grimy pretty quickly. Keep our associates looking in tip-top shape by having them turn in their old ones for a replacement. • Arm Sleeves: while we support associates expressing themselves through tattoos, we do have image standards that call for body art to be covered or inconspicuous. • Part-Time Dock Program: To help our part-time dock associates wear their Averitt uniform with pride. • Temporary Associates: even though they’re not required to wear uniforms, there are special clothing guidelines in place for temps. • Switcher Safety Shirt Program: special reflective wear is provided for the safety of our dock-switcher associates. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with all of our image standards, to set the example yourself, and to coach up your associates on how to make sure they’re looking sharp each day. They are not required to wear Averitt uniforms. • The Temporary program is in place to help when it comes to clothing while on the clock. This program provides them with three red shirts and one Averitt hat. This will help to promote camaraderie and make them feel part of our team. • These items are provided to temp associates free of charge. • Temp drivers are required to wear solid, true red polo or button-down shirt (long or short sleeve) and gray or black pants. Jeans are NOT permitted. • Temp dock associates are required to be in solid, true red t-shirts, and gray or black pants or shorts. We will provide dock associates with three free red t-shirts at your request. • HOW: Send request with temporary associate’s name and size to uniforms@averitt.com . • WHO: Service Center Directors and Operations Managers and Frontline Leaders.

PROFESSIONAL IMAGE TOOLKIT FOR LEADERS Part-time Dock Uniform Program • To help our part-time dock associates wear their Averitt uniform with pride, this program provides them with a uniform allotment of three Averitt branded shirts once they have completed 40 days of employment . • Part-time dock associates will receive an annual uniform allotment of three units each year on Jan. 1. • HOW: Contact the HR-LTL processor once your part-time dock associate has reached 40 days. This will trigger the allotment to be added to the uniform website so the associate can place an order. • WHO: Service Center Directors, Operations Managers and Frontline Leaders.
