El Campus ocupa una manzana completa del barrio Franklin, al final del eje Placer, donde está la ex refinería de azúcar (inmueble de conservación histórica). Esta ubicación ayuda a consolidar un remate del eje comercial existente. El objetivo es resignificar la industria como espacio alimentador que permita lograr la activación e integración social del sector. El programa se basa en microindustrias manufactureras, centros de capacitación, talleres de producción, patios de pruebas (primer nivel) y un pequeño museo de la vida de la ex industria. En el segundo nivel van los módulos de ventas conectados a las microindustrias, generando un recorrido comercial longitudinal. The campus occupies a full city block on the Franklin neighborhood, at the end of the Placer Street axis, where the former sugar refinery (historic preservation site) is located. This location helps to consolidate the head of the existing commercial axis. The aim is to give new meaning to the factory as a functional feeder space to stimulate the regeneration and social integration of the sector. The program is based on manufacturing micro-industries, training centers, production workshops, testing courtyards (first level) and a small museum to showcase the life of the former factory. On the second level sales modules connected to the micro-industries generate a longitudinal commercial route.
