En la pujante franja comprendida entre Av. Nueva Costanera y Av. Bicentenario, en Vitacura, el edificio MGV configura una esquina que incorpora a su lenguaje el verde y la amplitud espacial del contexto a través de un gran acceso y patios verdes exteriores e interiores. In the thriving strip between Nueva Costanera and Bicentenario avenues in Vitacura, the MGV building gives shape to a corner incorporating greenery to its language and the spatial dimension of the context in its grand entrance and interior and exterior green patios.
El edificio se compone por dos volúmenes unidos por el núcleo de escaleras y ascensores. Cada volumen se proyectó de planta angosta permitiendo una buena calidad lumínica y la ventilación cruzada de sus recintos. El material principal utilizado es el vidrio, que permite las vistas desde el interior hacia el exterior arbolado y a la vez simboliza la transparencia de la labor desarrollada; además refleja el paisaje circundante, condición que multiplica el verde del contexto. The building is composed of two volumes joined by the staircases and elevator cores. Each volume was designed with a narrow floor plan enabling good natural illumination and cross-ventilation of the premises. The main material is glass, which allows interior views of the outdoor vegetation while representing the transparency of the design process. It also reflects the surrounding landscape, multiplying the green context.
