La iluminación natural del silo fue trabajada mediante doce aberturas inferiores, que permiten mantener la condición solemne del espacio respetando la verticalidad y altura total del interior; en la capilla se privilegió un gran ventanal sobre el altar que permite iluminarlo y ver el silo como fondo. La asamblea se ilumina indirectamente mediante catorce ventanas a media altura. El atrio exterior se protege del sol generando sombra mediante placas metálicas perforadas instaladas de tal manera de lograr un espacio protegido y ventilado. La placa perforada también fue utilizada en el campanario, un volumen exento del conjunto, de 7 m de altura, igual que la capilla. La obra fue distinguida con el AR Faith Award 2016, que otorga la prestigiosa revista londinense Architectural Review.
The design for the natural lighting of the silo is based on twelve lower openings, which ensure the solemnity of the space while preserving the verticality and total height of the interior. In the church the design favored a large window over the altar to illuminate and also to show the silo as a background. The assembly has indirect lighting by means of fourteen windows at medium height. The outdoor atrium is protected from the sun by perforated metal panels installed in such a way to achieve a shaded and ventilated space. Perforated panels were also used in the bell tower, a freestanding 7 m high volume, same as the chapel. The work was awarded the AR Faith Award 2016, by Architectural Review, the prestigious London magazine.
