A juicio del jurado, el equipo mostró claridad conceptual para comprender y abordar el problema de diseño urbano y de transporte planteado en las bases, con un marcado énfasis en el diseño detallado del espacio público como forma de integrar los requerimientos de transporte y movilidad urbana, regeneración urbana, realce de los edificios patrimoniales y actividad cívica. Se valoró la estrategia unitaria de arborización de todo el corredor, el tratamiento homogéneo de los pavimentos y mobiliario urbano, y el atractivo diseño de los paraderos y estaciones en superficie, mediante su transparencia e incorporación al nuevo paisaje del eje. In the opinion of the jury, the team displayed conceptual clarity in understanding and addressing the problem of urban design and transportation raised in the tender task book, with a strong emphasis on the detailed design of public spaces as a way to integrate the requirements of transportation and urban mobility, urban regeneration, enhancement of the heritage buildings and civic activity. The unified strategy for tree plantation along the entire corridor was particularly valued, as well as the consistent treatment of pavements and street furniture, and the attractive design of the bus stops and surface stations featuring transparency and their integration into the new landscape of the axis.
