PROYECTO: ESTRATEGIA SANTIAGO SUSTENTABLE: PROYECTO DE INTEGRACIÓN URBANA EN TRES FASES PROJECT: SUSTAINABLE SANTIAGO STRATEGY: URBAN INTEGRATION PROJECT IN THREE PHASES Equipo Team: Architecture Studio + Cipres Ingeniería + Artelia Ville et Transport + Pro5 Ingeniería + IG + UDP País: Francia, Chile Country: France, Chile Se plantea el eje como una jugada estratégica hacia la imagen de una ciudad sustentable, una en la que se privilegien los modos de desplazamiento no contaminantes, y en la que se pone en valor el rol del espacio urbano. En la Alameda deben privilegiarse los modos de desplazamiento que convivan adecuadamente con la imagen de eje urbano simbólico, evitando saturarla, y el proyecto consiste entonces en el diseño de una secuencia que permita materializar esta idea. Una primera noción espacial es apostar por un espacio continuo, pilar fundamental de la ciudad sustentable a la que se aspira. La primera herramienta para plasmar esta visión es usar un espacio más amplio que la Alameda misma, comprendiendo que esta intervención se trata no sólo de una avenida, sino del sistema de desplazamiento oriente-poniente del centro de la ciudad. En este sistema intervienen los pares viales y las estaciones intermodales (metro/buses/otros) que permitan los cambios entre diferentes alternativas al interior de la red. The axis is presented as a strategic move towards the image of a sustainable city, in which clean modes of transportation are privileged and in which the role of the urban space is appreciated. In Alameda, we must give priority to the modes of displacement that coexist appropriately with the image of a symbolic urban axis, avoiding its saturation. Therefore the project consists of the design of a sequence that allows the construction of this idea. A first spatial notion is to propose a continuous space, the backbone of the sustainable city to which it aspires. The first tool to translate this vision is to use a broader space than the Alameda itself, understanding that this intervention not only involves an avenue, but the whole east-west transportation system of the city center. This system involves street pairs and intermodal stations (metro/buses/others) that allow transfers between different means within the network.
