Neighborhood/School Building: The master plan for the Lo Contador Campus places the new FADEU-CMPC building on the north side of the plot, from Monseñor Carlos Casanueva Street to Los Navegantes Street. The definition of the character of this border is key for the configuration of the institution, the future of the Faculty and the definition of a neighborhood. On the other hand, the new building should not dispute the role of the founding pieces of this particular context, but rather recognize the features that focus on the whole complex, with a neutral position. The project presents a building that responds to the condition of meeting place and enhances the educational process of a faculty in constant interaction with the street, the neighborhood and the city. The new construction must put its own visibility in check, and respond to its environment while becoming indistinct, both regarding its relationship with the internal parts of the campus as well as its projection towards the street.
