Deputy Housemaster Kris Miller Tena koutou katoa.
Kris Miller grew up in Otago, and moved to Christchurch in 2012 after completing his studies in Dunedin. Kris gained a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Otago, and a Graduate Diploma in Physical Conditioning from Otago Polytechnic. He has worked as a strength and conditioning coach since graduating, initially at Lincoln University and then with the London Scottish Rugby Club while overseas. Kris has been the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Christ’s College since arriving at the school in 2018. During his time at College, his interest in teaching and educating young people about the benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle has grown. This led Kris to complete the Graduate Diploma of Learning and Teaching through Massey University in 2024. He is now teaching Health and Physical Education, alongside my co- curricular role. In all aspects of his work, he believes it is important to build strong relationships that enhance a sense of belonging, and allow people to be themselves. He is committed to bringing this supportive approach to Julius House, to allow all boys to be their best. Kris looks forward to meeting and connecting with all the Julius House boys and their families, and working alongside Josh Kim as
the Deputy Housemaster in 2026. Email : krmiller@christscollege.com
