Service Express expands footprint in West Michigan
expanding training facilities. With the right Michigan tech talent, we can count on that support for the continued growth and success of our customers, our employees and our company.” Founded in 1993, Service Express maintains multi-platform data center equipment for hospitals, manufacturing plants, universities, banks, Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, government agencies, and other medium to large companies nationwide. The MEDC is supporting the IT company’s expansion with the approval of a $450,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant. The Right Place worked with the company in collaboration with theMEDC to assist the company’s local growth versus possibilities out of state. “Service Express has 40 locations in 20 states, but it is committed to expanding its operations here in the Grand Rapids area,” said Jennifer Wangler, senior business development manager, The Right Place. “The company has indicated that they need to invest heavily in recruiting and retaining tech talent and the greater Grand Rapids workforce provides Service Express with access to those talented tech professionals.
