Shorty stands 14 hands tall and is 100% clean and sound. Shorty has many hours of arena experience and always stays soft and responsive in his mouth. Shorty is really soft and responsive to leg pressure and also knows all the reining patterns. We’ve used Shorty to push cattle out of the brush, roped colts off of him and also sorted and pushed bulls on him. He will sure enough watch a cow. On the trails he stays quiet and smart and I’ve personally enjoyed Sunday afternoon rides bareback with just a halter. With all that he is humble enough to be a 5 yr old girls best friend galloping across the fields around the farm or just tromping thru the leaf piles with her in the fall.Shorty is very forgiving to rider mistakes without becoming grouchy and stays happy and willing. If you are 5 or 75 Shorty will quickly find his way into your heart. He would make a great Amateur level ranch riding horse and rides just as happy and smart in a simple snaffle bit as he does in a shank.
