La modulación de los pilares frente al bosque y la elección de la madera (lenga), que con el tiempo adquiere un tono platinado, sumado a un emplazamiento preciso para cada unidad, hacen que en ciertas condiciones las construcciones se mezclen con el paisaje. Se proyectó para quienes iban a construir. No se diseñó nada que no pudiera realizarse con las tecnologías locales y su mano de obra precaria y escasa. No hubo detalles constructivos sofisticados ya que no eran importantes, acotando el riesgo de errores difíciles y caros de corregir. Lo anterior se adaptó como metodología de diseño. The rhythm of the columns facing the forest and the choice of wood ( lenga beech), –which in time acquires a silvery tint– plus the precise location of each unit, make the constructions blend in with the landscape under certain conditions. The project was designed considering those who would build it. It wasn’t designed to be impossible to build with local technologies and precarious and scarce labor. There are no sophisticated construction details since these were not important, limiting the risk of mistakes difficult and expensive to fix. This was to become the methodology of design.
