HISTORY OF THE PARK Trailer Estates Beginnings Nearly 70 years ago, Mr. Sydney Adler and his in- vestors likely never imagined that today Trailer Es- tates would be a thriving, beautiful slice of paradise, with some homes selling for over $300,000. “Why pay rent?” enticing people from all over to consider a new life in Florida. Streets in TE were laid out as shell roads, named after nearly every U.S. state — with Canada Blvd included. Mr. Adler believed that naming the streets after states would give buyers a sense of connection to their homes in the North.
