STATS & HIGHLIGHTS GAMES,

While the top four seeds are undoubtedly vying for the title, it's important not to overlook the underdogs lurking in the background. Iowa Prep (8-4) and Premier Prep (8-4) are aiming to make the most of their position as underdogs. Similar to the traditional Cinderella tales told during March Madness, these teams are capable of pulling off some surprising upsets. Along with the other contenders, Bella Vista (5-4) and ABC Prep (5-4) are prepared to shake things up and show that anything can happen in high-pressure basketball.

05

Let’s soak up the festive spirit of this time of year as we prepare for the playoffs in Phoenix, Arizona. Everyone involved—coaches, players, and fans—should brace themselves for an exciting, dramatic, and memorable journey. We are excited to witness the thrilling EIBC playoff series, which is expected to match the intensity of the NCAA tournament.

THE RISE OF FEMALE ATHLETES IN THE NIL ERA:

A FOCUS ON WOMEN'S SPORTS: BELLA HINES

The terrain of women's sports is changing, and we are entering a transforming time when female athletes are empowered and their position in the public is confirmed. The recent increase in Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) agreements signifies a pivotal moment that will allow young women to optimize their talents and influence in unprecedented manners. Bella Hines , who recently inked an NIL agreement with Jordan Brand as she finishes her high school basketball career, is a bright illustration of this phenomenon. Looking ahead, women's sports offer an almost limitless future. Investing in female athletes for their ability to interact and inspire is equally as important as their physical talent, and college coaches and recruiters are realizing this. The emergence of NIL prospects is allowing young women to flourish in their sports and create viable professions. Celebrating Bella Hines, Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, and their colleagues marks us as honoring the tenacity and will of women in athletics. The future of women's athletics is brighter than ever as they continue to break stereotypes and redefine what is possible, ensuring a legacy of empowerment that will inspire future generations.

TEAM PROFILE

Anthem Prep

Marty Hawes grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, played at BYU and his sons Tyler and TJ followed in his footsteps playing at BYU as well. “At Anthem we’re not taking the traditional path” says Hawes during the EIBC Soundboard interview on advancedscoutingmedia.com. Hawes has been commended for his international recruiting efforts. His roster boasts studs from African countries like South Sudan, Senegal, Kenya , and the Congo . Several years ago Marty and Anthem prep built a school in Mali, West Africa. At this school Marty has been able to identify players with the right skill set to play at the prep level and potentially beyond. One of these fantastic student athletes from Mali is the 6-10 Center and All-EIBC 2nd Team Djafar Silimana . Djafar has a great drop step on the block. The spin move quickly gets the defender behind him and Silimana is usually able to finish easily around the rim, which is why the team boasts an 8-4 EIBC record throughout the year. Silimana played with the African UA Mali team where Mali won the championship. Silimana comes with experience and the team is expecting a lot of big things from the junior and fellow African UA teammate the 6-8 senior Forward Ali Tapo . Tapo plays bigger than his 6-8 frame, and reminds me a lot of former NBA New York Knicks star Anthony Mason. He’s the garbage man around the rim, always gobbling up offensive and defensive rebounds and goes up with authority when attacking the basket.

TOP 5 WINGS IN THE EIBC

Rahid Tinarelli (Anthem Prep) 6'6" Senior Forward for Anthem Prep

Rahidi Tinarelli of Anthem Prep comes next, exuding the agility and grace of rising Indiana Pacers player Pascal Siakam. Tinarelli's length and speed help him to easily negotiate defenders; his shooting touch guarantees he can extend the floor. His will and work ethic show his promise to be a future outstanding athlete. King Grace (Oak Cliff) Comparatively to icons like Paul Pierce and Eric Gordon, King Grace is a big-bodied wing that dominates the game. Constant danger on the offensive end, his ability to score from beyond the arc makes him Grace's basketball IQ enables him to make wise plays, but his physical presence lets him overwhelm opponents. His behavior on and off the court confirms his leadership role for Oak Cliff.

THE EIBC SHOWCASE SET TO IGNITE PHOENIX, ARIZONA WITH HIGH-STAKES ACTION FOR THE PLAYOFFS! The (EIBC) has experienced an explosion of skill this season. Here we display the top five wings generating waves, stressing not only their physical qualities but also their character and

room for development. Shelton Henton (PHH)

Henton, with his long and athletic build reminiscent of Max Christie, a talented player whose adaptability is causing waves in the game, stands out. Being an excellent 3&D player with strong defensive skills lets Henton influence the game on both ends of the court. For PHH, his versatility to protect several spots and scoring power makes him a major value. Elijah Summers (AZ Compass) At last, we have Elijah Summers, whose adaptable playing technique and scoring power bring to mind Kyle Kuzma. Elijah Summers is a versatile player with the ability to both spread the floor and attack the rim. His character is highlighted by his competitive nature and will to enhance his game; his high ceiling implies that he is barely realizing his full potential.

Davion Atkins (Oak Cliff)

09

Davion Atkins, whose long wingspan and skill set remind one of Michael Beasley, the previous number two choice in the NBA draft, is another outstanding talent from Oak Cliff. Atkins is a great scorer since he can produce his own shot and finish by contact. Given constant growth, Atkins has the potential to transform the league.

ABC PREP

Brandon Mason Jr. is a 6’7 snipper with a huge upside to scouts and coaches alike. The sophomore guard has already received offers from programs like Arizona st. Sam Houston, & New Mexico to name a few. Mason Jr. says he loves the exposure the EIBC League provides for him and his teammates. Mason Sr. says Jr. is not able to accept phone calls from programs yet so he is filtering through the many different calls coming in weekly from D1 programs, some pops says he’s keeping a secret until later! Stay tuned for updates and news on this incredible duo, like father, like son.
